Picking
ERP Web:
- Generate Pickingslips
- Menu: Warehousing -> Picking -> Generate Pickingslips
- Select filters
- Click on Generate
- Select Auto Allocation (or not) and click on 'Ok'
- The system will create pickingslips for items not already on a previous pickingslip where there is enough stock qty available (according to Acumatica availability calculation rules). Required quantity include the following:
- wisERP jobs for which there exists an production order with the same number in Acumatica.
- Acumatica Production Orders which does not exist as wisERP jobs.
- Acumatica Sales Orders excluding items linked to NEWEQPMT opportunities.
- Acumatica Kanban Requests.
- If the system picks up an available qty for a required item, it will generate a 1-step transfer in Acumatica for the selected item and record the transfer number against the pickingslip line. The reason for creating a transfer in Acumatica is to make Acumatica aware of a requirement so that the available quantity is recalculated. Serialized items will be excluded from picking slips. For now serialized items must be issued from the wisERP job Issue/Return screen. The 1-step transfer will use a dummy location (TEMPPICK) as the "To Location" for the item. The transfer will stay in the BALANCED state.
- Allocate Pickingslips
- Menu: Warehousing -> Picking -> Allocate Pickingslips
- Allocate pickslip items to different pickers. Pickers are set up in Acumatica Company Tree under EXPEDITORS.
- Manage Pickingslips
- Menu: Warehousing -> Picking -> Manage Pickingslips
- Use this menu to delete pickingslip lines. Only lines in unallocated and allocated state can be deleted. The linked Acumatica transfer will also be deleted which will recalculate the available quantity.
GRW Mobile:
- Pick:
- Menu: Warehousing -> Pick -> Pick
- Only items that are allocated to the logged on user will show on his device.
- Items to pick are grouped by item and location and the quantity to pick is summed. Thus if 4 different jobs require 1 each of a part and the system found that all 4 parts are available on the same location, then the picker will only see that he needs to pick 4 from that location. If he picks only 3, then the 3 would be assigned to the jobs that require it first to last and a new picking slip have to be created for the 4th job.
- When an item is picked, the system will update the linked transfer's "To Location" from TEMPPICK to the user's temporary location (which is his employee code in the TEMPPICK warehouse), change the transfer quantity to the picked quantity and release the transfer. This action will move the stock from the picking location to the TEMPPICK warehouse.
- Pack:
- Menu: Warehousing -> Pick -> Pack
- Select items to pack (only items picked by the logged on user will be available to pack).
- Select or scan the trolley in which to pack the items (a trolley location is a normal location in Acumatica but must be flagged as 'Picking Trolley')
- In Acumatica, a new transfer will be created and released. This will move the packed items from the user's temp location to the trolley.
- Deliver:
- Menu: Warehousing -> Pick -> Deliver
- Select or scan the trolley to deliver.
- In Acumaitca different documents will be generated depending on the origin of the items to deliver. For example, if an item was required on a wisERP job then it will be issued in wisERP and a Material Batch will be created in Acumatica to issue the item to the production order. If it originated from a sales order, then a Shipment Batch will be created. If it originated from a kanban request, then a Issue Batch will be created. These batch documents will reduce the quantity on hand in the picking trolley.
